The INNOVADE project team will participate in the AI in Science Summit 2026 (AIS26) in Dublin, Ireland. Coordinated by University College Dublin and Taighde Éireann-Research Ireland alongside the European Commission, the summit gathers leading international researchers, policy-makers, and industry innovators to champion a responsible, robust European approach to deploying AI.

Representing the AIBDD Task Force in Strand 1

INNOVADE will represent the AI, Big Data & Democracy (AIBDD) Task Force as part of the panel "AI-Powered SSAH Research" in Strand 1: Developing AI for Creativity and Society.

This Strand investigates the multifaceted relationship between artificial intelligence and research across the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). The strand moves past the traditional framing of SSH as purely an "ethics and integrity guardian" to explore where social scientists, communication scholars, and legal researchers actively shape the AI development pipeline to build systems fit for a just society.

During the panel, INNOVADE will present work from across the AIBDD Task Force cluster, demonstrating how Horizon Europe projects align advanced data analytics, natural language processing, and automated decision-support tools with European democratic standards and fundamental rights. Attendees are invited to join the discussion on the afternoon of the 1st day.
