CEPS discussion on 'Why AI Undermines Democracy and What To Do About It'

The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) is hosting a vital discussion on how artificial intelligence impacts democracy. Prof. Mark Coeckelbergh will present his latest book, Why AI Undermines Democracy and What To Do About It, addressing the risks AI poses to democratic values like freedom and equality while exploring opportunities for AI to strengthen democratic processes.
The event will bring together experts from academia, governance, and technology to discuss how democracy can adapt to the age of AI. INNOVADE’s Project Coordinator, Fatih Yilmaz, will be attending to share how the project is tackling these challenges by developing tools and frameworks to ensure digital democracy remains inclusive, transparent, and ethical.
This in-person event promises a thought-provoking exchange of ideas about the future of democracy in the digital age. For more details and registration, visit the CEPS event page.
