INNOVADE leverages trusted European digital technologies to foster inclusive democracy and civic participation
To advance digital democracy, INNOVADE will
- Build an interdisciplinary knowledge base on the current state, future trends, and emerging practices in digital democracy
- Help decision-makers understand the frameworks, structures and settings required for inclusive digital governance
- Provide a toolkit to guide governments in transitioning to optimal digital democracies
- Build a "Digital Democracy App" aligned with data protection, security and ethical principles
- Develop a conceptual framework, platform and educational materials to democratise access to digital tools for citizens

The project investigates recent developments in e-participation solutions through historical analysis and transnational cooperation.
